Prof. Dr. Maria Besiou is working on different humanitarian logistics projects. In this talk, she explores what the refugees are dreaming of and how we can help them realize their dreams into reality. What is the role of logistics in that?

Prof. Dr. Besiou is Associate Professor of Humanitarian Logistics at Kuehne Logistics University. She received her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and Operations Management from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) in Greece. Before joining KLU she worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at INSEAD, France. This talk was given at a TEDx event independently organized by Erasmus University Rotterdam.
